We love simple recipes that can be spiced up with a bit of hot sauce. Adding hot sauce to pasta salad adds a delicious kick to the refreshing staple. Our favorite in this recipe is Hot Ginger, because of the spicy, sweet zing it has, but all three of our Nashville Hot Sauces make a delicious final product here!
16 oz rotini pasta
2 cups cherry tomatoes diced
3 bell peppers (any colors) diced
3/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1-3 TBS Hot Ginger, Hot Garlic, or Hot Green (start small for a subtle kick and add more as desired)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp pepper
Cook pasta to package instructions. Drain, rinse, and set aside in a large bowl to cool.
Add diced tomatoes and bell peppers to the pasta.
Mix all ingredients for dressing in a small bowl.
Toss pasta in the salad dressing.
Chill and enjoy!
