Hot Sauce Spicy Fajita Burrito Bowl

Hot Sauce Spicy Fajita Burrito Bowl

Hello spicy fajita burrito bowl – where have you been all of our lives?! A customer recommendation – this is a deliciously spicy dinner or easy make ahead lunch to reheat later. Top with Hot Garlic or Hot Green (or be like us and mix both)!

Makes 4 Bowls

Ingredients:
1 cup brown rice uncooked
1 TBS high heat oil (we used grapeseed)
2 bell peppers any color, sliced into strips
1/2 large onion, sliced
2 cups shredded Rotisserie Chicken
1 cup corn, heated (frozen, fresh, can)
1 (15oz) can black beans

burrito bowls with guacamole and bottles of Hot Green and Hot Garlic beside it

Instructions:
Cook brown rice using a rice cooker or according to package instructions
Cook fajita peppers: In medium skillet heat oil over high heat, add peppers and onion, season as desired with salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Cook, moving frequently, until peppers are slightly soft, about 4 minutes. Remove peppers from pan, add corn, beans, and chicken to heat if not already warm. Heat on medium for a few minutes.
In serving bowls, create base with cooked brown rice and add chicken, beans, corn, and fajita peppers/onions. Top with Hot Garlic or Hot Green hot sauce (or do what we did and use both).
Serve with chips and spicy guacamole.
